HAVE SPA WILL TRAVEL

As the Polar Vortex continues its stranglehold on much of the nation, thoughts of traveling to a warmer clime have become imperative.  As a spa aficionado, however, it’s not always practical to travel to a location that has a full-service spa, including if you’re doing an overnight at a friend’s home.  Not to worry.  The next best thing is to take the spa with you regardless of your destination, and create a spa-like experience in your room; when booking your room, try to also get a room that has a soaking tub or Jacuzzi in it, to maximize the in-spa experience.  The following kits are ideal for creating an in-room spa experience and include sufficient product quantity for several uses.

The products in each of these kits met my performance criteria…
·       Products should be gentle and non-irritating.
·       Products should treat and condition the skin and improve texture and tone.
·       Products should be quickly absorbed and replenish hydration levels without leaving any greasy or tacky residue.
·       Products should have aromatherapeutic properties based on the use of natural or organic pure essential oils, which benefit relaxation and other favorable performance attributes.

Other points to keep in mind…
·       Bring exfoliation gloves or a mitt to elevate the efficacy of any cleansing or exfoliation product used.
·       Bring your favorite CD of relaxation music, or download your favorite music to your mobile device.
·       Bing your favorite tea and make a nice hot cup to sip and savor as you cap off your in-room travel spa experience.
·       For those of you flying, product containers must conform to the TSA mandated three-ounce size and placed in a see-through one-quart plastic container for your carry-on.
·       If you’re hosting an overnight guest, consider having one of these kits in a welcome basket along with other handy guest needs.
·       Keep the empty containers and refill them with your favorite products for your next trip.
·       You can also invest in travel kits that have empty containers and then fill them with your favorite products for your next getaway.

~ In Closing ~

Remember to try and set aside some personal time each day so you can take care of yourself, unwind and decompress, even if it’s only for ten minutes.  You’ve earned this time and you deserve it.  Think of it as an investment in your health and well-being.

That’s it for this edition.  Until the next one, remember to take care of yourself and those you love.
