In a blink of the eye, Spring has disappeared. Summer has now kicked into high gear with
daily bouts of crystal blue skies, warm to steamy hot temperatures, bright and
cheery sunshine, balmy breezes, and all-things outdoors. As we continue transitioning from one season
to another, finding new product discoveries to make that transition all the
more enjoyable is what my latest is all about.
Here are my latest finds and must-haves.
Enjoy!
~ Summer Skincare ~
Summer skin can be stressed out skin, given the in and out effect of
the summer’s heat and humidity, and the in and out plunge into air-conditioned
cold and dryer temperatures. The
following products are ideal for your new summer skincare regiment. These products will nourish and replenish
your skin’s mantle with just the right polishing, toning, and moisturizing.
PurErb Bulgarian Rose Soothing Toner ~ I love anything with
rose essential oil in it, and this incredible product not only refreshed me,
but enlivened my senses with its deep rose aroma. It was a real joy to use each and every
time. The aromatherapeutic properties of
its complex and pure formulation make this the perfect summer refresher for the
face that soothes and refreshes. For an
added affect, keep it chilled in your fridge and spritz away whenever you’re
over-heated or in need of a quick pick-me-up.
Key ingredients include Bulgarian
Rose Flower Water, Rose Geranium Flower Water, White Tea Water, Witch Hazel
Water, Japanese Knotweed Root Extract, Azalea Flower Extract, Vitamin B5,
Bulgarian Rose Flower Oil, Frankincense Oil, Rose Geranium Oil, Sandalwood Oil,
Oregano Leaf Extract, Thyme Leaf Extract, Cinnamon Bark Extract, Olive Leaf
Extract, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Peppermint Leaf Extract, Lavender Flower Extract,
Goldenseal Root Extract, Lemon Peel Extract, and Edelweiss Plant Stem Cells. For more information, visit https://www.purerbskincare.com
Reviva Labs Ultra Potency Vitamin C+ Antioxidant Serum ~ Loaded
with antioxidants to fight free radicals, this beautiful serum can stand alone
as is, or used under a moisturizer, day or night. The rich, silky texture glides on, without
causing any irritation, and is quickly absorbed without leaving any tacky or
greasy residue. I found it to be so
gentle that even when used on the orbital bone as an under eye treatment, it
didn’t cause my eyes to tear up. My skin
felt silky smooth, and fine lines and wrinkles were noticeably diminished; my
skin also looked healthier and brighter.
Key ingredients include Vitamins C
and E, COQ10, Sunflower Oil, Panthenol, Aloe Leaf Juice, Rosehip Oil,
Hyaluronic Acid, Cocoa Butter, Borage Oil, Emblica Extract (Indian Gooseberry),
Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Fig Extract, Blueberry Extract, Cranberry Seed Oil,
and Flaxseed Oil. For more

~ Summer Maquillage ~
If you enjoy the warmth of the summer sun to get that summer glow,
don’t forget to protect your delicate skin from the ravages of the UVA/UVB with
the duality of products that both protect and color enhance the summer
skin. Following are a few products to
add to your daily makeup routine.
Jane Iredale Powder-Me SPF 30 Dry Sunscreen (Translucent) ~
This is the ideal all year round sun-safe product that has the distinguished Skin Cancer Foundation Recommended Seal for
Daily Use. I loved the sponge
applicator that delivers a premeasured amount of product that gives a beautiful
finish to the skin; full coverage that won’t fade or crease, or exaggerate skin
imperfections. The Broad spectrum SPF 30 formulation is water resistant for up to
forty minutes, and protects against the sun’s harsh UVA/UVB. This multi-purpose product is ideal for the
face, body, or scalp, and is also safe to use on top of sunburn to soothe any
inflammation. Key ingredients include Mica, Aluminum Hydroxide, Titanium Dioxide
(an FDA approved physical sunscreen active ingredient), Pomegranate Extract and
Pine Bark Extract. Skin Cancer Foundation Recommended Seal for
Daily Use. For more information,

Mineral Fusion Mineral Makeup 3-in-1 Color Stick (Rosette) and
Eyeshadow Trio (Sultry) ~ Many prefer the burnished glow of a summer
tan to brighten their face. I prefer the
subtle glow of mineral makeup colors that enhance and brighten. Mineral
Fusion Mineral Makeup does just that, while also providing healthy
ingredients that are safe and gentle, and deliver hydration. I tried their 3-in-1 Color Stick (Rosette). This
is the perfect multi-use product that gives just the right amount of
brightening color, without being garish, while delivering hydration; the color
will compliment most skin tones. Key ingredients include Glycerin, Pomegranate Extract, White Tea Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis
Leaf Juice, and Licorice Extract. For a bit of eye color, the Eyeshadow Trio in Sultry was perfect. The Trio
of Colors included Charcoal, Silver,
and Cream; Charcoal and Cream,
are both matte colors, while Silver
has a hint of shimmer. The Charcoal and Silver can be used as
single colors, in the crease, or all over the lid for a more dramatic look; the
Cream can be used as a highlighter,
or all over the lid, for a muted look.
Each color glides on easily, and won’t fade or crease. Key ingredients include Vitamin E, Vitamin C, White Tea leaf
Extract, Rooibos Red Tea Leaf Extract, Pomegranate Extract, Grape Seed Extract,
Sea Kelp Extract, Aloe Vera Leaf Extract, and Elderberry Fruit Extract. For more information, visit http://www.mineralfusion.com
