HEALING ARTS FOR HAITI ~The event on Friday Feb. 12th from noon to 8pm at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City is shaping up to be one of the spa industry’s largest and certainly most big-hearted charity event. The event will unite for a common cause massage therapists, estheticians, nail techs, make-up artists, and other practitioners of the healing artists; also included will be a silent auction, raffles, and more. To my dear sweet younger sister Laurita who passed unexpectedly on Monday, February 1, 2010 after a short illness and brief hospital stay.
