(Image from www.flowergardenpictures.com)
Springtime is all about change and renewal.  Following are some of my latest spring product finds I tested, that would be perfect additions to your routine.  Enjoy!

~ Face Finds ~

Le Mieux Cosmetics Hyaluronic Shea Mask ~ This was an exceptionally soothing, calming, and hydrating facemask.  I experienced no irritation to my finicky skin; product was rich and dense; it was also non-greasy and after removal, my face was drenched with moisture; the skin texture was even and silky to the touch.  Key ingredients include apple fruit water, shea butter, macadamia seed oil, borage seed oil, seaweed, green tea leaf extract, aloe leaf extract, chamomile flower extract, lavender flower extract, lavender essential oil, peppermint leaf extract, and rosewood essential oil.  The Shea Mask is ideal for anyone with uneven moisture levels in their skin in need of balancing; ideal for drier and colder climates.  http://www.lemieuxcosmetics.com

Silkriller Deep Facial Cleanser Foam, Revitalizing Beauty Tonic Lotion, 3D Gold Gel Advanced Anti-Aging Serum, and Hydrating Moisture Cream ~ For the Deep Facial Cleanser Foam, key ingredients included silk fiber, olive fruit oil, honey, and grapefruit peel oil; for the Revitalizing Beauty Tonic Lotion key ingredients included silk fiber and water; for the 3d Silver Gel Advanced Anti-Aging Serum, key ingredients included silk fiber, soy protein, pig placenta, and marine collagen; and, for the Hydrating Moisture Cream, key ingredients included silk fiber, coconut oil, avocado oil, rice bran oil, aloe vera leaf, castor oil, shea nut oil, cocoa butter, and Vitamin E.  All of these products were gentle and effective.  My overall skin texture was beautifully balanced with moisture; fine lines and wrinkles were visibly diminished, hydration levels were maintained throughout the day; products were gentle and non-irritating, non-greasy, and ideal for day or night regiments.  After using, there was a noticeable luminosity to my skin, as well.  http://silkriller.com

~ Maquillage ~

Arbonne Lip Gloss (Linden), Lipstick (Poppy), Eyeshadow Compact (Quartz, Slate, and Sienna), and Loose Mineral Powder Foundation (Ivory) ~ These colors were perfect for Spring and added a fresh vibrancy to my eyes, mouth, and face; these all-natural products gave just the right amount of subtle color to brighten my winter-pale skintone and complemented my yellow undertones.  The silky consistencies made for a very easy application; colors remained true throughout the day and didn’t fade or crease.  For the Eyeshadows, I used Quartz, a neutral with hints of pink, all over the eyelid; for under the eyebrow, I added a wisp of Slate, a subtle buff; and, for an accent to the lid and rimmed lash area, I used Sienna, a rich earthy tone.  Key ingredients for the Eyeshadows included natural minerals, Hibiscus flower extract, and Euphrasia herb extract.  The Lipstick in Poppy, a fresh warm-red, added just the right amount of brightness to my lips; for a bit of whimsy, I also added some to my upper cheek bones, blending well.  Key ingredients included castor oil, jojoba esters, apple fruit extract, meadowfoam seed oil, mango butter, sunflower seed oil, lentil fruit extract, Vitamin E.  The Lip Gloss in Linden, a peachy-pink, brightened  my lips making them look like a fresh blossom.  Key ingredients included sunflower seed oil, castor seed oil, passion fruit oil, and Vitamin E.  The Loose Mineral Powder, in Ivory, was the perfect neutral color for my skintone that concealed the slightest of perceived flaws.  , key ingredients included olivine extract, linseed extract, cogon grass root extract, and mica.  All of these products are green and earth-friendly; products aren’t tested on animals, and each formulation doesn’t contain any chemicals, synthetics, additives, artificial colors, preservatives, animal or mineral by-products, or talc.  http://www.arbonne.com/discover/products/cosmetics.shtml

Each new season presents so many opportunities for change and renewal.  Finding what works for you might take a bit of time, but in the end, it’ll be well worth the effort.  That’s it for this edition.  Until the next one, remember to take care of yourself and those you love.
