In a blink of the eye, Summer is
fading, and in it’s place, Fall is beginning to take hold. Although Fall officially arrives in less than
twenty-four days, there will still be a few last gasps of warm and even hot
Summer weather; but in time, the chill and bite of northerly winds will also
kick in, and much to my delight. Crystal
clear blue skies, the crunch of falling leaves, and the once lush green of
ground and trees will begin to go dormant.
All signs of Fall…..
As we continue transitioning from
one season to the next, finding new product discoveries to make that transition
all the more enjoyable is what this edition is all about. My latest product finds are sure to please,
and be perfect for the new seasonal transitioning. This edition’s round up includes products
from Jan Marini, L’Occitane en Provence, SeabuckWonders, Treets Traditions, and
Jane Iredale. These products are perfect
for transitioning from Summer to Fall, and beyond. Enjoy!

Skincare ~
Jan Marini ~ Hyla3D Lip Complex
This restorative Lip Complex delivered
results in a short amount of time. My
skin texture was soft and supple, more defined, and looked healthier; I only
had a few, barely discernable, lines around the upper lip line and this product
softened them up, making them hardly visible.
Key ingredients include Ceramide 2, Retinol, DMAE, Tri-peptide, and
CoQ10. I suggest using this as a
treatment prior to retiring; I don’t recommend applying it during the day,
because normal activities like drinking and eating diminish the product’s
effectiveness. For more information,

L’Occitane en Provence ~ Divine
Face Cream and Eye Cream
This power duo was the perfect antidote for my
Summer-weary skin. Immortelle has
multiple benefits that include being an antioxidant, increases circulation, anti-aging,
calming, and soothing. Divine Face
Cream absorbed quickly without leaving any tacky or greasy residue;
hydration levels were well maintained throughout the day; skin was visibly
healthier looking, fine lines, wrinkles, and pore size were minimized, and
texture of skin was more consistent; product consistency was silky. Key ingredients include Camelina Sativa
Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Rosemary, Sunflower Seed Oil, Vitamin E, Immortelle
Extract, Myrtle Essential Oil, and Borage Seed Oil. Divine Eye Cream was non-irritating
and quickly absorbed without leaving any tacky or greasy residue; hydration
levels were well maintained throughout the day; fine lines and wrinkles were minimized;
product consistency was silky. Key
ingredients include Immortelle Extract, Myrtle Essential Oil, Vitamin E,
Cabbage Rose Water, Evening Primrose Oil, and Shea Butter. For more information, visit http://usa.loccitane.com
SeabuckWonders ~ Himalayan Sea
Buckthorn Exfoliating Facial Cleanser
This Facial Cleanser was outstanding.
It’s exfoliation and cleansing properties were both very gentle and
effective; my skin didn’t feel taut or dry after using the product, and felt
hydrated and soft to the touch; the product rinsed well without leaving any
residue; product had a silky consistency.
The enjoyable and fresh aroma of Orange
added a nice touch to using this product.
Key ingredients include Certified
Organic Himalayan Sea Buckthorn Berry and Seed Oil, Jojoba Esters, Orange Peel
Oil, Omega Fatty Acids 3, 6, 7,and 9, and Vegetable Glycerin. For more information, visit

Treets Traditions ~ Energising Secrets Foaming Shower Gel
The consistency of this product was like shaving foam, and a
little went a long way. The Foaming Shower Gel made for a rich and
gentle lather that thoroughly cleansed without drying; rinsed off thoroughly
without leaving any residue on the skin, which felt soft and silky to the
touch. Key ingredients include Tamanu Seed Oil, Passion Fruit Seed Oil, and
Vitamins A, C, and E. For more

Seasonal transitioning requires
assessing the efficacy of all of your treatment products. Products that
worked well during the Spring and Summer may not necessarily perform as well in
the Fall. Make sure to change your regimens and products to conform to
changes brought about by seasonal transitioning and change.
Be sure to read my annual missive
on “Fall/Winter Transitioning Tips ~ Your Best Bet”, which will be out shortly.
In this seasonal gem, I’ll share with
you as an industry insider all of my expert tips, recommendations, and
insights. I cover everything…skin and body care, makeup, fragrance,
wellness, health, and lifestyle. This article is a potpourri of the best
in seasonal lifestyle transitioning, and is also relevant for transitioning
from Spring/Summer to Fall/Winter.
Take the time to notice the
changes in nature as the seasons change, and enjoy them. Celebrate and
embrace those changes, because they’re a part of the cycle of life.
That’s it for this edition. Until the next one, remember to take care of
yourself and those you love.
